About this golf destination

The Ocean Course opened in 1991 for the Ryder Cup --- the War by the Shore, one of the most emotionally charged team competitions in golf history. The 2012 PGA Championship saw Rory McIlroy win by eight shots on a course playing at its most demanding. In 2021, Phil Mickelson became the oldest major champion in history on these same fairways. The course has been on the PGA Championship rota ever since and is expected to return.
